Malaspina University-College Automotive Department is celebrating the addition of a shiny silver teaching tool to their training fleet. DaimlerChrysler Canada donated a 2006 Jeep Liberty Diesel to the Malaspina Automotive Department this past week to help students in their training. University Women exceed $100,000 goal

The Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) Nanaimo added $8,000 to their Malaspina University-College student endowment fund, bringing the total to $101,000. The fund was started in 2001, and generates two annual scholarships and a bursary for women enrolled in undergraduate programs at Malaspina.
